Before putting down your payments, consider the following questions: Are you already paying for linens? Do you like the cake? A helpful hint is to use all of the things they provide that you’re already paying for, then add your accented touches to your event for a cheap price.

Instead of going to a different pastry chef outside of the venue, you can save money by bringing in your own touches.

Another thing to remember: Making your cake too fancy will eventually result in you not eating it at all. Too much drapery or fondant will make the cake inedible. Keep your cake simple and classy.
